Babysitting Course
Developed by the American Academy of Pediatrics, BLAST!
(babysitter lessons and safety training)
Babysitting training is no longer offered. CPR and First Aid are available.
The BLAST! course is exciting and very interactive. Ideally designed for ages 12-15, it provides the fundamental training for child/baby care, safety and basic first aid.
This training includes business development, professional behavior, decision making skills, safe care (holding, burping, feeding, diapering), choking skills for the child and infant.
Basic *First Aid skills for bleeding, burns, bee stings etc… Each participant will receive their own babysitting handbook, materials and babysitting certificate. *no CPR or First Aid card.
This class is recommended for:
Scout troops
Mother’s helpers
New sitters
Experienced sitters that desire a certification card
Young adults who may be home alone.
Babysitter’s training is no longer offered.
A private class for CPR and First Aid for a minimum of 10 participants can be scheduled at your convenience.
